“Road Trip” series Eathernware range

I developed my earthenware functional ware further and applied various commercial and studio glazes-
Continuing with layering and wiping back the glazes to reveal the textures created at the raw stage process- scratching the surface- relief printing and silk screen print transfer with coloured slips-

I applied commercial decals to keep the theme of my “Road Trip” series-
Creating “Strawberry Fields” and “Rambling Rose”.

As part of completing my Diploma in Visual Art Ceramics I am undertaking a Mixed Media unit and applying these techniques to slip cast mini canvases – following through the themes to create abstract landscapes of Cairns landscape and from works developed of collages I created – I will further develop glazes creating some lovely textural crawling glazes and matt glazes and adding silk screen print transfer with oxides –
